PASTEL COLOURS
Throughout the show many designers continue to incorporate light washed out pastel hues. They mix these colours with natural textures and neutralized marbles and ceramics to create an overall modern serenity in the space.

SHIMMER & IRIDESCENT EFFECTS
Milan showcased a range of new technology incorporated into the various new lighting methods. Alongside with the popular use of plastics, colours became almost iridescent and unique as they shimmer to the viewers.

MARBLE REVIVAL
The marbled patterns and its smooth texture was a popular trend among many exhibitors in the show. Combined with natural elements such as wood and industrial elements, designers can reinvent a classic material in a modern way. This is one trend that will be staying.

GLASS CRAFTSMANSHIP
Glass has a unique feature that offers viewers a new spectrum of colours. Designers find creative outlet combining glass with opaque materials to create interesting furniture, décor, and lighting.
