Celebrating the emergence of new technologies, this space by Vincent Gregoire focus on the innovative new world. Examining how these technologies influence designs of all fields, products show how “new materials and performances are sketching the future, combining senses and sensuality”. There is a strong emphasis of breaking the cycle of reproducing the out-dated and the passé and obtaining optimism to changes in the future. New machines, materials, services, and actions are constantly invented to elevate a new area for designers to explore and rethink objects in everyday life. Techno-sciences allows designers to radically refresh what they know and discover the universe in a new way.

For instance the old methods mixing in with the new to produce furniture such as the Gaudi chair by Bram Geenan made of glass-filled nylon and carbon fibres which uses chain model method by Antoni Gaudi alongside a software script to produce a piece of sturdy, lightweight furniture.
